What’s New:

I actually have two new series that sort of ‘happened’ during the worst of the pandemic. To see more, go to the menu and click on the series name: Processing or Waiting. To read more about Processing, visit the ‘My Story’ tab.

Processing

I’ve completed a very colorful abstract series of oil paintings about processing our new reality in this unstable world. I used some unconventional tools, like squeegees and plastic wrap to get the feel of photographs and films that weren’t processed correctly. You can see some finished pieces here , or you can always get a look at my latest experiments and works in progress on instagram.

New Work

Finished a new painting that feels just right for the series I’ve been finding my way through. Don’t have a name for the series yet, but this distorted, negative of a vintage photo feels perfect to me at the moment. I’m definitely playing with ambiguity here, and that space between clarity and chaos.
